Facile synthesis of graphene oxide/Fe<sub>3</sub>O<sub>4</sub> nanocomposite for electrochemical sensing on determination of dopamine

Dopamine concentration abnormalities in the body can cause various disorders and diseases such as Parkinson's, Tourette's syndrome, depression. In this study, graphene oxide (GO) was combined with Fe3O4 to sensitively selectively detect dopamine. The performance evaluated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) differential pulse (DPV) methods. results of testing CV on solution [Fe(CN)6] showed that a modification GO gave maximum effective surface area value 0.0127 cm2, proving increase conductivity sensor. DPV shows dopamine detection using GO/Fe3O4 has linear range at 1–10 μM limit 0.48 quantification 1.6 μM. also good selectivity where peak current is separated 0.245 V ascorbic acid, which closest interference compound.
